Temporal Liveness: Scenes of Double Sensations is simultaneously a testament to the joy of creation and an honest yet dark exploration of what is lost when producing art. With over an hour of material and no shortage of challenging sounds throughout its runtime, it can be described as a quite laborious piece of media, both from the listener’s and artist’s perspective. It is introspective and thought provoking at every moment; it does not hide its influences, whether it be the experience of live theater or the unique timbres of Sachiko M., yet it nonetheless manages to endow us with completely unique sounds. Composed of both live and heavily edited material, Temporal Liveness respects the silence that serves as the foundation of creativity.
